Puja is spirited , chaotic and eneretic. She is sent away by her strict mother to a remote location in rural kerala , where she must spend her summer vacation doing voluntary work.
Arush is studious , careful and shy. Born and raised in Britain , he is elated to be part of an international programme that requires him to spend twelve weeks in India. It's an opportunity to explore his roots.
When the two meet, they cannot believe how different the other one is. But the internet is choppy and there are no other distractions, and slowly but surely , Puja and Arush fall in love.
Falling in love , however , is not the same thing as staying in love. When the young couple are embroiled in a dangerous , spiralling situation , Puja is forced to confront her life and choices and Arush the harsh reality of india. As they desperatly fight to uncover the truth and save themselves , their love is tested. Is it deep enough to overcome their own doubts about it ? As Puja and Arush discover , sometimes you have to travel far to find yourself.
