The Diary of a Young Girl is a book of the writings from the Dutch language diary kept by Anne Frank while she was in hiding for two years with her family named her daiary " Kitty", because in her safe haven from the Nazis, Anne has no real friends, so she must make imaginary ones. The family was betrayed in August 1944, which resulted in their deportation to Nazi concentration camps. Anne Frank died when she was 15 years old in Bergen Belsen concentration camp. Of the group of eight, only Otto Frank. Otto Frank decided to fulfill his daughter's wish and published her diary.
